Open Journeys: Tokyo

An illustrated journey through Tokyo, collected together
as an artists publication.

The project looks at the relationship between tradition and modernity,
the old and the new; for example, traditional print to neon advertising,
or the historical fish market to the new International Forum building.
The publication was produced using a mix of old and new printing methods to reflect this.

The limited-edition box sets were sold at ICA, Zwemmer, The Photographers Gallery, Whitechapel Art Gallery (London), Auto, Zakka (New York) and Shinjuku Bookstore (Tokyo). The image sheets were exhibited at each outlet in a wall-mounted lightbox display.
